A good way to respond to this question is to say, “yes I am a team player and I have had ample opportunity to demonstrate my team spirit”. Tell them about your roles in team work in your past job if any. If not talk about the roles you played in team work during your schooling.

You must have done group discussions, group seminar, assignment, etc in school. Talking about your roles in any of those activities will leave your interviewers convinced that you can work under a team.

Team work is unavoidable in every organisation. You have to prove that you can work very well under a team.

How Your Education Has Helped You Prepare for Your Career

This question seems simple, isn’t it? Though it seems simple, it is a broad question with broad answer. You need to relate your educational background to the job in question. There is no course of study that won’t have contribution to any career. Just tell them that your educational background has helped you with the fundamentals and basic knowledge of your career path. You also need to cite examples of areas you think your education has helped you.

Have You Ever Had a Fight/Conflict/trouble With Your Senior/team member/colleague, and how did you resolve it?

Many people will rush to say NO to this question. But how true is it that people who work together won’t ever have conflict? The interviewer will see your answer as fake if you simply reply NO. 
The essence of this question is not to nail you for ever having conflict with your colleagues at the place of work. The interviewer through this question want to assess your behavioural response to problematic situations. It is to assess your approach to peace and conflict resolution.

Therefore, hiding your problems with former colleagues won’t make you appear an angel before the interviewer. Rather, admitting and speedily highlighting how you were able to quickly resolve the issues will give you more credibility.

How would your boss or supervisor describe you?

This question is like a self appraisal. You must before hand prepare an answer for this question. Whatever you tell the hiring manager has a way of impacting on your success of getting the job. 

You can say, I think he/she will describe me as an energetic, focussed and one of the staff that doesn’t give him/her problems. 

What is your greatest weakness

It’s common to hear people say I don’t have any weakness when asked the above question. But who on earth does not have weakness if not weaknesses. 

In answering this question, bear in mind that the hiring manager want to assess your honesty. You need to mention a weakness that you can manipulate your answer to turn to strength. Therefore, select a weakness that you have been working on to overcome.

If you were given the opportunity to change one thing in your life, what would that be?

What do you think are the qualities of a successful manager or team lead?

While answering this question, you must focus on two major words – vision and leadership. You can respond that a manager or team lead should be visionary enough to identify the threats that the team may face in the nearest future to prevent them. A good manager should also be visionary enough to identify opportunities that lies ahead of his team. Also, you need to say that a good manager should be a good leader. Leadership is all about inspiring and motivating team members to the actualisation of set goals.
